On August 26, 2018 I held a Panel Discussion focused on Lyme Disease, featuring leaders in the treatment and research of Lyme Disease.
Guest speakers included:
Dr. Timothy Sellati, Global Lyme Alliance Chief Scientific Officer -
He is leading The GLA’s research initiatives to accelerate the development of more effective methods of diagnosis and treatment of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases;
Sara Tyghter, Global Lyme Alliance Director of Education and Outreach
Dr. Tamara Odell, a practicing physician who specializes in chronic inflammatory illness, and especially Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
I facilitated discussion among the panelists for about forty-five, the remaining hour and a half was devoted to robust discussions initiated by eager attendees. Topics included a wide range of questions touching on contagiousness, diagnosis, and treatment and recovery strategies for Lyme Disease, and much more.
