“I know it doesn’t look like it, but I am sick”

I have been sick for almost my entire life. I have seen many doctors, and my symptoms have mystified most of them. In 2015 I was finally diagnosed with Chronic Neurological Lyme Disease (Neurobeallis). Living with lyme Disease and it’s confections (Bartonella, Babesia) for over fifteen years made it hard to do anything; go to school, eat, talk, read, write, or even sleep. The debilitating pain and mental fog left me feeling disconnected from myself and my life, this opened the door to depression, anxiety, paranoia and thoughts of suicide. Today I am receiving treatment that works. While I still have bad days, there are fewer of them, and my health is moving in the right direction. I hope that by sharing my story you know that you’re not alone, and it will get better. Never give up on living. You are important. You matter ❤️❤️. Continue to be the person you are intended to be. Pursue your dreams.
